The grand opened in 1782 is one of the oldest theatres in the UK and has seen its fair share of historical famous faces from Charles Dickens to modern comedians.
The unassuming theatre is warm and welcoming on entry however once inside the opulent decoration the atmosphere and mood switches the ghostly residents still tread the boards within these famous walls of fun, laughter and drama.
The apparition of the grey lady often seen sitting in the stalls or walking across the stage still living out the scenes of a life long ago lived.
The grey lady is also joined by a male actor in spirit who roams the stage area. Actors and staff have reported the feeling of being uncomfortable and being touched in the dressing room areas. Do you dare tred the boards of the Lancaster grand theatre as we go into the shadows?
